  • YOU WANT A DESIGN THAT MAXIMIZES EFFICIENCY.

We demand it. You want a space that has longevity. We insist on it.
So we don’t respond to trends; we respond to needs. Needs – from comfort to vigour – will always outlast trends.

  • YOU CAN EASILY SPEND 35% OF THE TIME YOU'RE AWAKE AT WORK.

The workplace better feel good. And it shouldn’t feel like work. Our design works hard so you won’t feel like that’s what you’re doing.

  • PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THE AWARDS WE'VE WON.

But what you should know is that it isn’t awards that excite us. It’s that our design changes clients lives. It’s about changing their relationship with their surroundings. You’ll see.

This project is closely aligned with the “Balanced” ABW profile outlined in GC Workplace guidelines. This is completely unassigned floorplate, consisting of a variety of workpoints which are separated into three distinctive zones: an active zone for team-based, collaborative work; a quiet zone for high-concentration, heads-down work; and, buffer zones between these two called transitional zones to ensure there is adequate separation between them.

The workpoints, while following GC Workplace guidelines, have been developed to meet specific user requirements. The group that will occupy this floor is a Communications Branch – there is a good mix of dynamic, team-based work paired with high-concentration, creative work.
This makes an ABW environment very appropriate from a functional point of view. The user group was actively consulted during the development of the design and has been a very enthusiastic participant in this pilot project. Similar to other GC Workplace projects, furniture solutions were of key importance to supporting the approved design.
LWG developed all the required furniture documentation to support the necessary procurement activities, including the not only the use of Supply Arrangements, but other procurement mechanisms as well.
