CFHI

Project Overview

When the Canadian Foundation for Health Improvement (CFHI) came to LWG, the CFHI wanted to free themselves from a cellular workspace. We love the thought of freedom at work. So it was a pleasure to work with them to create an open, flexible and contemporary environment. It’s a space that can accommodate future growth.

Our favourite thing about the design is that the growth is on a foundation built of collaboration of all the CFHI staff. It was a classic LWG experience, involving an earnest assessment of needs.

The result is fostering great creativity at CFHI. Change isn’t always easy, but it’s a case of how it’s approached. Their staff found this change came with complete transformation of the base building lighting systems, dynamic new furniture schemes, state of the art audio-visual structures and some - if we do say so ourselves - ingenious acoustical dampening solutions.

We’re incredibly proud of the multi-tiered flexibility that we were able to accomplish here - and of the relationship we were able to build with the CFHI in order to arrive at it.

LWG and HEC together undertook a cross-nation review and solicitated the participation of all staff in developing a completely re-imagined workspace. This project embodies a truly collaborative design process, and which resulted in a versatile and stimulating office environment which enables and supports HEC team-oriented approach and deafly applies HEC ’s branding initiative. – Marc Letellier
