LWG Architectural Interiors was pleased to collaborate with Smith + Andersen on the design of their 8,200 sq. ft. Ottawa office, creating a workplace that supports focused engineering work while fostering connection, learning, and team culture.
The space is organized around highly functional, product-focused workspaces balanced by a vibrant communal hub. At the heart of the office is a flexible staff lounge and training suite, designed to adapt seamlessly to multiple uses. Operable partitions allow the training room to open fully into the communal area, transforming the space to support town halls, learning sessions, and social gatherings.
Smith + Andersen’s brand identity is thoughtfully integrated throughout the workplace through material selection, colour accents, and architectural elements. These design gestures reinforce the firm’s culture and values while contributing to a cohesive, contemporary environment. The result is a dynamic and adaptable office that reflects Smith + Andersen’s commitment to engineering excellence, collaboration, and people.
